MINT TEA

Monday : Traditions. The way my mother prepares the moroccan mint tea. Like the Arabic Coffee and almost all the recipies, we put a lot of spices everywhere. So follow the steps.

Put 2 teaspoons of black tea in a teapot with a glasse of hot water and leave it for 2 minutes

Pour the liquid in a glasse and leave it

Then add on the teapot a glasse of hot water and throw it 

Now add all the green herbs in the teapot

Pour the glasse of black tea and fill it with hot water

Leave the teapot 1 minute on the fire

Pour a glasse of tea and put it back in the teapot.

Enjoy!

Rien de mieux que de rentrer à la maison se ressourcer. Après près d'un mois de vadrouille, je n'avais qu'une envie, prendre un thé sur les toits, près d'une parabole rouillée.

Je ne me lasserai jamais : du bruit au loin de la peugeot 103 (même avec  le double vitrage), des vendeurs de Flash tendermint à la sortie des magasins (sont-ils payés par la société pour en faire la promotion?), du taxi rouge vide qui ne te prends que s'il va dans la même direction que toi, de la soudaine familiarité mi-impolitesse, mi-humanité des gens avec le fameux "khti" (ma soeur),  du repas "fruits à volonté" dont je me suis privé là-bas, des 3 verres de thé en plus que ta grand-mère prépare alors qu'on est que 2....

Le Maroc, c'est comme une  recharge superlux à 2,50 dhs mais qui s'epuise en 1h....

Nothing better than going home to recharge. After nearly a month mop, I had one wish, take tea on the roof near a rusty dish.
I will never tire: the noise away from the Peugeot 103 (even with double glazing),Flash tendermint vendors at the exit of the stores (they are paid by the company to promote it?), Red Taxi void that will take you if in the same direction as you, the sudden familiarity mid-rude, half-human people with the famous "hti" (my sister), the meal "fruits at will" which I am deprived there, the three glasses of tea and more thatyour grandmother is that while we prepare two ....

Morocco is a Charging Superlux I buy my house down to 2.50 dhs but that runs outin 1 hour ....
